Private residence Nea Penteli ΙΙ

The project was designed to accommodate a family of four. Morphologically, the building is characterized by a continuous zigzagging line that connects the ground floor to the upper level, defining the volumes.

The location is distinguished by its pronounced topography, lush vegetation, and scenic views—elements that are seamlessly integrated into the residence's design. Entry to the house is made laterally from the municipal pedestrian walkway, which was designed specifically for the project. This side access, combined with the building’s elevated position relative to the main road and the double-height glass façade in the living area, ensures unobstructed views of the basin from the main living spaces.

The building unfolds across four levels. The basement houses all auxiliary spaces, along with an independent guest suite featuring a small kitchen and a bathroom. The ground floor contains the living and dining areas, while the private sleeping quarters are located on the upper level. Finally, the attic level accommodates the owners’ home office.

Great emphasis was placed on integrating the interior with the exterior, achieved through large openings. A concrete pergola extends and connects the living areas, creating a semi-outdoor space that filters the intense summer sunlight and offers a relaxing environment throughout the day.

The dark stone cladding, along with the black detailing of the window frames, contrasts with the white volume of the building. Overall, the material palette that defines the residence’s character lends an urban and contemporary feel to both the interior and exterior spaces.
