Private residence at Gerakas

The two-story residence, spanning a total of 180 sq.m. is situated in the northeastern suburbs of Athens and comprises two floors. The ground floor includes the living room, the dining room, the kitchen and an office, while the floor contains the bedrooms; two for the children and a master bedroom.
The garden extends outward from the living room, while the small portico outside the dining room and the barbeque, as an extension of the kitchen, create special corners for entertaining guests of the family.
The earthly tones, the carefully selected materials and the decorative elements compose a distinctive aesthetic that reflects the strong personality of the owners and expresses their desire for classical elegance.
This project was a challenge for our practice, since it needed to combine a classical design with the necessities of the modern way of life.
